ABOUT THE JOB
We are seeking a strategic leader to drive our digital and media strategy as Head of Digital and Media. Reporting to the Director of Healthcare Nutrition ANZ, you will inspire new digital approaches, shape Consumer Experience, and drive strategic planning in Early Life and Medical Nutrition. In this permanent role, you will translate our commercial strategy into a dynamic digital roadmap, leverage global capabilities for growth, execute strategies to maximize brand performance, and lead team development.
Your responsibilities will include (but are not limited to):
Strategy Development & Thought Leadership: Shape and drive the ANZ Digital and Media Strategic Plan, prioritising the needs of consumers and healthcare professionals. Develop cutting-edge media strategies (paid, social, search) and pioneer thought leadership in digital health innovations. Team Leadership and Culture : Lead a high-performance digital and media team, fostering a strong team culture to enhance business performance, drive commercial growth, and empower people. Change Management : Champion change by leveraging external, global internal best practices and expert insights, demonstrating the value of digital and media to business leaders. You will role model an agile test-and-learn approach for the team and the broader business. Executional Excellence: Lead and mobilise the Digital and Media team along with agency partners to execute brand strategies with excellence. Foster an agile mindset to achieve company objectives while embedding core digital capabilities across all functions, ensuring proficiency in fundamentals and future digital trends. Commercial Delivery: Own the Digital and Media Experience P&L, conducting frequent analyses. Oversee media campaign execution to ensure optimal performance and maximise ROI. You will develop, lead and animate a strong overview of digital metrics across the business. Stakeholder Engagement: Engage key stakeholders to secure buy-in for strategic plans and influence the global digital strategy through shared learnings and best practice. Data & Tech Leadership : Oversee First Party Data (1PD) within Topline and Digital domains, ensuring continuous acquisition through ecosystem and value exchange. Manage data with privacy, consent, security, and governance within the Danone ecosystem. Champion global platforms locally, influencing stakeholders at global, regional, and local levels. About You You are a visionary leader in digital transformation, known for crafting groundbreaking strategies that redefine brand engagement. Your self-motivation and independence drive success in dynamic environments, where you excel in navigating complex stakeholder landscapes. Adaptable and strategic, you turn challenges into opportunities, consistently pushing the boundaries of digital innovation. Your passion for cutting-edge technology and continuous learning fuels your commitment to excellence, making you a catalyst for organizational growth and success.
Ideally, you will have:
10+ years of experience in digital marketing/media strategy, including3+ years in leadership roles. Experience inFMCG, consumer healthcare, agency, or any regulated environment preferred. Strongleadership, communication, and strategic thinking skills. Ability to transition seamlessly fromstrategy to execution, effectively prioritising and aligning team resources. Proven experience inteam management and exceptional stakeholder engagement Demonstratedcommercial acumen with a strong understanding ofP&L analysis. Expertise incustomer value journey mapping, paid media ,social media ,SEO ,SEM ,community management ,website personalisation (AEM), andCRM platforms (SFMC) and other analytical tools.
