Maintenance and Reliability Lead (BH-27567) Location: Ingleburn, Australia

Six Degrees has teamed up with a top ASX listed Food and Beverages manufacturing business to recruit a Maintenance Lead for their Ingleburn site. This role of Maintenance and Reliability Lead is to facilitate business transformation through the establishment of continuous improvement practices on site as well as improving machine and operator reliability.
This role has the requirement of Saturday work which will be paid at a penalty rate. You MUST be able to work 1 Saturday a fortnight or (preferably) every Saturday. We are open to discussing various arrangements including part time (4 days) or an 11 day fortnight if desired. The reason Saturday is a requirement is due to the Saturday maintenance window when operations have ceased and contractors are present on-site.
Responsibilities include: Manage the current day, plan for the next and review the past on operational effectiveness and uptime. Supervise the maintenance team to deliver plant reliability. Manage on-site contractors to WHO&S to deliver plant reliability and efficiency. Design and installation stages of projects for new assets and modification of existing assets. Plan preventative maintenance with operations. Manage spare parts and costs. Work with Production to perform analysis of assets including Asset Utilisation, Overall Equipment Effectiveness, Remaining useful life, and other parameters that define operating condition, reliability, and costs of assets. Develop and implement training plans. Development of individual performance plans and reviews. Strategic Responsibilities include: Loss Elimination Risk Management Life Cycle Asset Management Improving the performance of operation The ideal candidate will have: Experience within a food manufacturing environment. Trades qualification with proven contractor management experience or an Engineering qualification. Familiarity with production and planning concepts (S&OP processes). Project management skills.
