The Senior Performance and Risk Analyst will be responsible for conducting detailed performance analysis regarding the transfer of BT/ AAML assets to minimise impacts and analyse risks. They will be responsible for assessing and mitigating performance implications of the transfer of BT Super into MST options on Day 1 and gaining deeper insights into drivers of risks and returns across BT’s single and multi sector portfolios.
This role will design and implement performance measurement and attribution reporting models post transaction including Security and total portfolio level; separation of DAA and IAA contributions; assessment of tax, fee and cashflow impacts; attribution relative to a range of composite SAA benchmark & YFYS benchmarks; attribution of FX contribution; and attribution of Overlay contribution
They will also analyse portfolio performance and attribution data management capture and processes post transaction and input into future state investment risk and performance measurement capability.
The Senior Performance and Risk Analyst will report to Head of Fund Implementation and work closely with the Fund Implementation team, the Strategy team, the Program Delivery team and the broader Pacific Portfolio Management (PM) team as required.
What you need to have:
6. Qualifications at a Degree level in an appropriate analytical discipline such as finance, economics or mathematics. A suitable post graduate qualification, such as CFA, CIMA or Masters in a relevant discipline would be desirable but not necessary.
7. 3 - 5 years investment industry experience
8. Experience in asset restructures and portfolio transitions
9. Understanding of different approaches to portfolio transition management
10. A sound knowledge of multi asset class portfolio construction
11. A sound knowledge of investment markets and asset classes
12. Strong excel skills
13. Strong analytical skills
14. Ability to communicate and interact confidently with other investment professionals, senior staff and other internal stakeholders
