Your next opportunity We are seeking a Mechanical Engineer to join our Operations team based at Chullora. You will plan and control the WHS, certification, registration and other compliance requirements of all our equipment, including concrete tower booms, mobile and static concrete pumps, and other concrete placing equipment. Your day will involve: Liaise with authorities to determine compliance with requirements for concrete pumping operations Interface with clients and internal staff to establish safe and efficient concrete pumping set up, concrete line build, tower boom installation and jumping sequences Deliver engineering solutions to meet the business requirements within budget and schedule Evaluate tenders and assist with professional presentation of concrete pumping operations Review and maintain the mechanical standards across the business, ensuring the provision of support to project sites in the use of mechanical equipment Ensure risk management is maintained to the highest standard. What are we looking for? Relevant Mechanical Engineering experience within the concrete, construction or heavy plant & equipment Tertiary qualifications preferably in Mechanical Engineering & trade background in plant & equipment Hydraulic & electromechanical mind set Proven hands-on experience utilising CAD and BIM software Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to think on your feet and solve problems.
