The company offers its proprietary LFP battery solution, comprehensive EPC services, and innovative solutions aimed at improving grid operations and supporting the integration of clean energy for a sustainable future.Location & Flexibility – Sydney or Melbourne, Australia – Travel required up to 50% and the ability to stay on site for 2-3 weeks at a time during commissioning activities.Salary & Benefits – Up to $180k AUD +25% target bonus, 20 days paid leave + 10 days of personal leave, $80 AUD per month for cell phone, Learning and development career opportunities.About the Job:As the Senior Commissioning Manager, you will be responsible for leading a team of commissioning managers and engineers who execute all commissioning activities of utility-scale battery storage projects. You will organize and manage the team to work as the key technical liaison with the client and EPC partners during the commissioning phase of the projects, working closely with the project and product engineering teams and suppliers.Develop and execute commissioning plans, including resourcing, logistics, and scheduling whilst managing 2 or 3 commissioning managers.Develop plans and procedures for quality inspection and commissioning tasks.Support commissioning managers on site during various commissioning and acceptance testing activities.Assign team members to specific projects and activities and organize overall commissioning activities ensuring that processes and tools are established and standardized.Ensure that proper documentation is established for commissioning and testing records while collaborating with stakeholders to define and execute testing protocols to achieve commercial operation, based on market rules, AHJ/utility requirements, and contracts.About You:Master's degree in electrical engineering or related engineering discipline.Minimum 10 years direct technical experience from any of the following: Substation or Solar EPC, Engineering firm, Energy Storage integrator, or similar.5 years team management experience.5 years of Commissioning experience.Deep knowledge in power system installation, construction, design phase engineering, local jurisdictions requirements, project scheduling, and system layout design.Ability to be flexible with working hours (evening and weekends when required) and to travel to project sites as needed.Please send your CV to ****** Type: Full-timePay: Up to $180,000.00 per yearBenefits:Health insuranceProfessional development assistanceSupplementary Pay:Performance bonusWork Location: Hybrid remote in Carlton, VIC 3053#J-18808-Ljbffr
