Accountable for delivering on-site assistance to Operations and/or Terminal and/or General Managers and employees regarding HR-related issues, encompassing a diverse range of HR responsibilities, administrative tasks, managing Workday data, recruiting, orientation and integration, talent management and retention, learning and development, performance management, addressing disciplinary matters and grievances, terminations, as well as activities related to rewards, benefits, and payroll. This role ensures detailed coordination with the HR shared service center, taking ownership of administrative processes that need to be initiated in-country and compliance with relevant labour laws. Knowledge Skills and Abilities, Key Responsibilities: Key Responsibilities: Assist in the implementation of Global and Regional HR functional strategy and initiatives. Develop and further strong connections with customers, partners, and team members. Respond promptly to all HR-related requests/enquiries in a professional and efficient manner. Track and handle all requests and queries, providing actions and updates to relevant parties. Ensure timely and accurate submission of payroll input to HR Shared Service and review of output. Provide standard accurate reports as required, to Management. Act as a trusted business partner, providing HR advice, support, and administration to Management and employees. Provide advice and support to line managers in the interpretation and consistent application of HR policies and procedures. Initiate recruitment processes, schedule, coordinate, and facilitate interviews. Facilitate the contracting, enrolment, onboarding, and induction process for new employees. Deliver transactional processing and administrative services in-country, ensuring the integrity of HR information and data. Coordinate and facilitate training activities as per operational requirements. Drive the performance management process and assist line managers as needed. Nurture HSSE values and ensure HSSE is promoted in-country through actions and decisions. See opportunities for improving processes, business efficiencies, and customer service. Be responsible for compliance with applicable employment law and policy implementation, fostering employee engagement. Knowledge, Skills and Abilities: University degree or equivalent experience in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field with a minimum of 10 years of Human Resource experience in medium to large companies, preferably multinational with a multicultural environment. Confirmed knowledge of regulatory obligations and compliance, including visa/work permit processes within Dubai and experience on the Dubai trade portal would be an advantage. Solid experience in employee/industrial relations. Solid understanding of HR-related programs, processes, tools, policies, guidelines, and standard methodologies. Validated knowledge of applicable employment law and regulations within Dubai (Jafza zone) and Australia. Proficient in MS Office (Excel, Word, and PowerPoint) and HR systems.
