It should have a very great future and will be an excellent test of golf."POSITIONRoyal Queensland Golf Club is now seeking to fill a part-time role as a golf shop attendant.Reporting to the Director of Golf.The responsibilities include, but are not limited to: Achieving sales targets through always providing excellent customer service,Giving advice & upselling products & services,Taking responsibility for the golf shop being tidy and always professionally presented,Assisting with the ordering of stock and services,Assisting in organising & running competitions,Other duties as directed by your supervisor.Skills and experienceStrong communication skills.A high level of computer literacy.The ability to interact with a diverse group of people including internal and external stakeholders.A strong interest in golf.The capacity to perform the requirements of the role with a minimum level of supervision.QUALIFICATIONSPreferable: 1 year in a similar role.Strong knowledge of the Golf Retail Environment.Experience in Golf Operations.Acute understanding of the Member Service Environment.Ability to perform club repairs.Your ordinary hours of work will be 22 – 27 per week, worked according to a roster, plus additional hours when required.To express your interest in the role, please email Steve Rhind, Director of Golf, a cover letter and CV by December 6, 2024.Only successful applicants will be contacted.#J-18808-Ljbffr
