Job Description The RoleWe are seeking dedicated Learning Support Assistants to join our team. As a key member of the Department of Learning Support, you will play a crucial role in providing assistance and guidance to secondary year students. This is a contract position that offers an exciting opportunity to make a positive impact on the educational journey of our students.We have part-time opportunities available for the remainder of the 2025 academic year:Both roles involve working with our middle and senior school students.Key responsibilities and tasks include:Providing one-on-one support to students with additional educational needsAssisting in the implementation of individual learning plans and supporting students in achieving their learning goalsCollaborating with teachers to create inclusive learning environments that cater to the diverse needs of studentsFacilitating small group activities and interventions aimed at enhancing students' academic and social developmentSupporting the use of assistive technology and other resources to aid student learningObserving and recording student progress, and communicating effectively with teaching staff and parents/guardiansThe successful candidate will have a genuine passion for supporting young learners, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work collaboratively within a dynamic educational setting.
