Partner with the best As a Plant Operator you're to receive incoming materials, make quality checks, ensure correct storage and perform decanting of liquid chemical product. You're to ensure safe and reliable delivery of products to customers. You're to ensure samples are managed as per QC requirement and perform plant maintenance & check accordingly.
As a Plant Operator, you will be responsible for:
Performing transfer of packaged, liquid and bulk productsPreparing of drilling fluids and brines to formulations specified by management using filtration and centrifuging where required.Checking raw materials and packaging availability prior to decanting.Taking product samples for QC as detailed in operations procedures.Ensuring QC approval prior to repacking or bulk product transfer as detailed in operational procedures.Unloading / loading transport carriers as per sales or purchase order status.Performing maintenance checks as stipulatedMeeting company expectations for HSE standards and policyEnsuring stock / product is received with correct quality paperwork and meeting quality specificationsWork Experience Fuel your passion To be successful in this role you will:
Have high school certificate or equivalent level of education.Have 3 -5 years' experience in chemical plant operationsHave ability to read and interpret routine instruction, correspondence, and memos.Be good team player and display good communication skills.Have ability to work inside or outside in hot temperature.Have proficiency in multiple software systems (Outlook, SAP, Microsoft Office)Have ability to work in fast paced environment.Have forklift license.Working with us Our people are at the heart of what we do at Baker Hughes.
