Courts Administration Authority Job reference: 646308 Location: 5000 - ADELAIDE Job status: Ongoing Eligibility: Open to Everyone The Inquest Support Officer assists in the coordination of inquest preparation by providing a confidential and efficient administrative support service as required by the Special Counsel Assisting the State Coroner and Deputy State Coroner. Do you have: Minimum accurate typing speed of 60 wpm. Ability to successfully operate and transcribe from a digital Dictaphone machine. High level of administrative skills, time management and personal organisation. Experience in successfully dealing with angry and/or distressed people. High level communication skills, both verbally and in writing. Experience in the use of computerised data management systems and Microsoft Office packages. Experience in records management. Then this role is for you! Special Conditions: This is an ongoing role. Appointment is under the Courts Administration Act 1993. Terms and Conditions of employment are governed by the Public Sector Act 2009. Appointment is dependent upon a current National Police Certificate that the CAA find satisfactory. As a justice agency the CAA may receive details of spent convictions as part of any Criminal History Screening and use this information in the selection process. Appointees may be required to disclose their COVID-19 vaccination status.
