We are currently recruiting a Program/Project Manager, Non-Network Solutions to join our Strategy & Future Networks Management department.
This role can be based anywhere within Essential Energy's operational footprint throughout NSW.
About the role The Program/Project Manager is accountable for the integration, management, and end to end delivery of specific projects or programs of work for the development of new assets/technology within time, cost and scheduled parameters in support of the Corporate Strategy.
The Program/Project Manager will collaborate with internal departments and technically qualified and experienced staff to lead the development and delivery of new assets into Business as Usual (BAU) processes.
Key responsibilities: Be accountable for the development and management of multiple programs and provide leadership and coordination to develop new assets and technology in line with the Corporate Strategy.
Manage the financial delivery of the programs to support business case development.
Research and develop documentation with internal stakeholders for new assets such as specifications, procurement, maintenance, installation and commissioning plans.
Manage projects during the design, construction, and commissioning phase of trial Accountable for safe, effective and efficient development process to establish new assets, trial projects, and associated standards, processes and procedures.
Develop and monitor project / site specific safety, environmental and risk management plans and ensure that they are effectively implemented through onsite staff.
Develop and maintain detailed and accurate project schedules for each program of work including time and resource forecasts and analysis, and appropriate logic and dependencies.
About You As Program/Project Manager, you will be a proven leader with a demonstrated ability to successfully manage and deliver programs of work on time and within budget.
Your expertise in commercial contract administration, product development, risk management and change control will play a pivotal role in ensuring project milestones are met.
You will take a proactive approach to relationship building within and across project teams and suppliers, allowing you to effectively manage and coordinate a diverse group of stakeholders to deliver high-quality business outcomes.
Required Qualifications/Skills Bachelor of Project Management or demonstrated capability through past employment experience and/or relevant qualifications.
White Card - Workcover Induction for Construction Work - General Course Driver's Licence Professional experience in a similar project/program management role in the energy sector Extensive contract administration, negotiation and management experience to monitor and challenge contractor delivery performance and the development of strategies to address under-performance and compliance failures Skills in commercial contract management, various forms of contract and contract risk management Strong knowledge of forecasting techniques and methodologies Desirable Electrical Engineering qualifications Why Essential Energy We offer competitive remuneration from $124,478 and 16% superannuation.
