Job Description
Our Front Office team is responsible for providing first impressions to our guests, and as a Porter, your key responsibilities will include:
* Welcoming guests
* Carrying luggage
* Valet parking guest vehicles
* Escorting guests to their rooms
* Explaining hotel facilities
* Maintaining the cleanliness standards of the Hotel entrance
* Delivering amenities and other items to guest rooms
* Providing tourism information including dining and entertainment recommendations
* Promoting the Accor Live Limitless Loyalty Program
* Ability to work a flexible 7-day roster including AM and PM shifts.
You will also be well-presented with a positive and professional attitude and have a passion for hotel operations and providing exceptional customer service.
Qualifications
The successful candidate will have previous experience in a similar role plus:
* Ability to lift sometimes heavy luggage
* Ability to work unsupervised
* Ability to provide prompt and efficient service including upselling advantageous
* Time management skills with the ability to multi-task
* Responsible Service of Alcohol
* C Class Driver’s Licence (manual)
