With over 80,000 colleagues worldwide, Alstom leads the charge in creating greener, smarter mobility solutions, connecting cities, reducing carbon emissions, and replacing reliance on cars.ResponsibilitiesReporting to the Production Supervisor, this role would see you perform all mechanical installations to complete the assembly of the train, where no day will be the same!Key Responsibilities:•Assemble and install mechanical components and equipment in accordance with engineering drawings and specifications.•Conduct preventative maintenance and troubleshooting to identify and resolve mechanical issues.•Perform overhauls and repairs on machinery and equipment as needed.•Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies at all times.•Collaborate with colleagues to improve efficiency and productivity in the process.Your ProfileTo be eligible for the role, you should possess the following qualifications and attributes:•Certification or qualification in fitting (i.e, Certificate III in Engineering Mechanical Trade or equivalent•Proven experience as a Mechanical Fitter or similar role.•Strong mechanical aptitude with the ability to read and interpret engineering drawings.•Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.•Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.•Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.What's in it for you?

Day shift - Monday to Thursday 7:00am – 4:30pm (4 days, totally 36 hours/week) 2.
Day shift - Tuesday to Friday, 7:00am – 4:30pm (4 days, totally 36 hours/week) 3.
