They are dedicated to maintaining industry-leading standards of safety, quality, and accreditation.About the Role:The Laboratory Manager will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of the laboratory's operations, ensuring that services are provided at the highest standard while maintaining NATA accreditation. The role involves managing the laboratory team, fostering a positive culture, and ensuring compliance with industry standards and financial requirements.Key Responsibilities:Lead and manage all functions of the Laboratory, including responding to customer enquiries, ensuring safety protocols, addressing staffing issues, and maintaining NATA accreditation.Control laboratory budget expenditure and ensure accurate and timely end-of-month revenue reporting.Promote and demonstrate the companies values (STAAR) within the laboratory environment.Complete end-of-month KPI reports and ensure they are submitted on time.Effectively manage and resolve staff issues, and proactively address any testing service challenges.Oversee sub-contractor management and ensure their compliance with laboratory requirements.Ensure asset compliance through Maximo/QEST for all laboratory equipment.Skills and Experience Required:Relevant Diploma or Degree in a related field.Advanced Training in Leadership is desirable.Training in LEAN programs is desirable.A minimum of 10 years of laboratory experience, particularly in quality or operational roles.Previous experience in laboratory supervisory or management positions is essential.Ability to participate in and close out internal and external audits.Strong financial acumen and budget management skills.In-depth knowledge of the 17025 requirements.Familiarity with AS1012, AS1141, AS1289, and tNSW methods.Proven leadership skills and experience working within a team environment.How to Apply:Click on the "Apply" button to submit your application.
