With two retail stores, a strong domestic and international wholesale presence, and a thriving e-commerce platform, our financial operations require a highly skilled and meticulous Bookkeeper to manage our complex and high-volume transactions.
As we are also manufacturing both nationally and internationally, you will also be dealing with suppliers in multiple currencies across numerous purchase orders and invoices.
The Role Reporting to the Managing Director, the Bookkeeper will be responsible for overseeing the financial transactions across all business channels.
This includes retail, wholesale (domestic and international), and e-commerce operations.
The role requires a proactive and highly organised individual with experience managing high-volume bookkeeping in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records across retail, wholesale, and e-commerce operations.Process purchase orders and supplier invoices, payments, and receipts efficiently, ensuring accurate financial reporting.Manage accounts payable and receivable across multiple currencies and international transactions.Reconcile bank and credit card statements across multiple accounts and entities.Prepare and lodge BAS, GST, PAYG, and other statutory financial requirements.Process payroll, superannuation, and leave entitlements for a growing team.Monitor cash flow and assist with financial forecasting to support business growth.Generate, analyse, and present financial reports to support strategic decision-making.Maintain occupational health and safety compliance for financial processes.Set up and maintain supplier records, ensuring timely payments and strong vendor relationships.Work closely with the operations team to track and reconcile inventory transactions.Build and measure financial KPIs to support sales, retail, and wholesale teams.Ensure compliance with financial regulations, tax obligations, and business policies.Liaise with external accountants, auditors, and stakeholders as required.Assist with general administrative duties related to finance and HR, including annual leave records and work cover claims.Key Requirements 5+ year's experience as a Bookkeeper or in a similar finance role within manufacturing and retail, e-commerce, or wholesale sales.Experience with Cin7 or other inventory management systems (essential).Experience with Shopify (essential) to track sales and transactions.Comprehensive and expert-level knowledge of Australian accounting principles, GST, payroll, and compliance, ensuring full accuracy and compliance across all financial operations.High level of accuracy, attention to detail, and ability to manage high-volume transactions.Strong organisational skills and ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.Excellent written and verbal communication skills.Ability to work autonomously and collaboratively within a team.Experience managing financial transactions for a high-volume e-commerce business is highly desirable.What We Offer Competitive salary based on experience.Flexible working arrangements (part-time or full-time options available, Family Friendly hours).A supportive and inspiring team environment.The opportunity to be part of a growing and innovative brand.Discounts on Temple of the Sun jewellery.Why Join Us?
