We are seeking applicants for an Apprenticeship Pastry Chef/Baker to join our busy Patisserie & Bakery Team.
About the Role
We are looking for candidates who want to gain a trade in Baking/Pastry Chef from one of Sydney's best and most respected Patisseries. You should be willing to work in a fast-paced environment and demonstrate exceptional teamwork skills. The ideal candidate should be capable of working efficiently both independently and collaboratively, with strong on-the-spot problem-solving skills essential for this role.
Tasks & Responsibilities
As an Apprenticeship Pastry Chef/Baker, you will be expected to:
* Commit to a 4 Year Apprenticeship.
* Attend 1 day per week at Tafe for 2 ½ Years.
* Work early morning shifts.
* Be available for weekend shifts.
Skills & Experience
No experience is necessary, but the following attributes are essential:
* Enthusiastic & positive attitude.
* Availability to work during holidays.
* Reliability.
* Team player.
* Good communication skills.
* Willingness to work in a busy environment.
