The Tasmanian State Service (TSS) is the largest employer in Tasmania, with over 28,000 employees providing services to the Tasmanian community at all levels.
In accordance with Agency policies, procedures, and guidelines, assist with food preparation, production, plating service, ware-washing, and cleaning duties in the provision of catering services to patients, visitors, and staff of the hospital.
Key Responsibilities:
* Assist in maintaining a high standard of food preparation, service, meal distribution, ware-washing, and cleaning of the hospital service areas in accordance with the relevant codes of practice.
* Check patient identification is correct prior to delivering/distributing meals and observe all dietary restrictions allocated to patients.
* Perform receipt and storage duties associated with food supplies in line with food safety guidelines.
* Perform general food preparation, service, and menu-related duties.
Details of Appointment:
Multiple permanent, part-time, shift worker positions, working up to 30 hours per fortnight, commencing as soon as possible. Notwithstanding hours to be negotiated with the successful applicant.

Salary: $57,130 to $59,443 pro rata per annum + our Employer 11.5% superannuation contribution is on top of this amount.
* Salary range is in accordance with Public Sector Unions Wages Agreement 2022 .
