About your opportunity
The Clinical Nurse provides direct nursing care utilising clinical skills, education and support to patients/clients and nursing staff within the Renal Unit to ensure the provision of best practice and quality patient care.
The successful candidate will be someone who can work autonomously and has excellent communication and leadership skills along with the ability to make clinical decisions. The Charters Towers dialysis unit is a four-chair satellite unit which offers a three-day Monday/Wednesday/Friday service providing high quality care to patients located in this region.
Generous remuneration package value up to $55,700 p.a. comprising:
1. Salary range of $54.44 to $58.30 p.h. (Nurse Grade 6 Band 1)
2. Annual leave with 17.5% loading
3. 12.75% employer contribution to superannuation.

Requirements
4. Bachelor of Nursing or equivalent certification relevant to the position is mandatory.
5. Proof of qualification, registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA) and possession of a current practising certificate.
6. Highly Desirable: Possession of a relevant postgraduate qualification in an appropriate field is highly desirable. Such experience may be discipline specific or have a service area focus.
7. Shift Workers: Appointees will be required to work all shifts in accordance with the unit roster, which will include participation in an on-call roster.
8. On call: Appointees may be required to participate in an on-call roster.
9. This is a Vaccine Preventable Diseases (VPD) risk role: Hepatitis A/B, Measles, Mumps, Rubella, Varicella, and Pertussis.
