The Opportunity
We are seeking a passionate Senior Dental Assistant / Clinical Coordinator to join our team on a part-time basis, Mondays, Tuesdays, Thursdays & Fridays from 7.45am - 5.15pm.
In this role, you will play a pivotal role in supporting the Practice Manager to coordinate and manage the financial and operational aspects of the practice, with a strong focus on enhancing the patient experience and driving practice initiatives. You will exemplify our values and contribute to the growth and success of the practice.
Key Responsibilities:
* Assist in the daily management of the practice to ensure exceptional patient experiences at every touchpoint.
* Handle customer complaints promptly and professionally.
* Create a professional and welcoming environment for patients.
* Maintain a clean and well-presented reception and front office area.
* Assist in the recruitment process and contribute to building a high-performing team.
* Facilitate the induction and onboarding of new employees, identifying training needs.
* Provide support, encouragement, and mentoring to team members.
* Act as a role model to your team members.
* Collaborate with the PM to drive practice growth, by assisting with local area marketing.
* Manage daily tasks such as recalls, confirmations, online bookings, and treatment follow-ups.
* Deliver exceptional patient care, with a focus on new and existing patients.
* Undertake practice administration activities and maintain high standards.
* Be flexible to work on reception or in surgery as needed to support practice operations.
* Participate in WH&S audits and implement recommended improvements within specified timelines.

* Previous experience in dental or healthcare administration preferred.
* Strong organisational and communication skills.
* Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a team.

* Proficiency in office software and practice management systems.
