Legal and Legislative Services is seeking to recruit a highly motivated Legal Support Officer to join their team.

The Legal Support Officer processes location orders, subpoenas, court orders and other legal documents received by the Legal Services Branch efficiently according to the Department’s policies and protocols and legal requirements.
The successful applicant will respond to general enquiries about the status of documents from operational personnel, Court staff and legal counsel, in a confidential, professional and timely manner as well as assist in the co-ordination of the provision of documents for legal requirements. Within this role it crucial that the successful applicant provides support to other officers within Legal Services.

9. training specific to this role required by Department policy; and
10. the Department’s training in Accountability and Ethical Decision-Making within six months of appointment
11. the Department’s Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander cultural awareness online course within 3 months of commencement
