The Role
5. Continuing, Full time
6. AUD$193,758 pa (plus 17% superannuation) + attractive allowance for Deputy Director role
In this role you will spend 50% of your time as Deputy Director and the remaining 50% will be spent undertaking research as a Professor of Farming Systems. The Deputy Director role will be for a fixed term period of up to 5 years with possible renewal.
You will work closely with the Executive Director, Gulbali Institute to help lead the overall research performance of the institute through the design of strategic initiatives, targeted funding programs, and in-depth data analysis.
You will perform your own independent research whilst also helping to create a culture of high performance, assist with leading the implementation of the research strategy for the Gulbali institute and facilitate collaborative connections with stakeholders to strengthen and expand the research agenda.
It is expected that you will be an active researcher, bringing income commensurate with a professor-level appointment, supervising HDR students, postdoctoral staff and producing high quality outputs in your field of expertise.
