The position is vital and pivotal, being the main point of contact between ABRI and clients, both domestically and globally.You will take ownership of client engagement, listen to their needs, and reflect products to service their immediate and future requirements. Operationally you will ensure clients are onboarded, trained and ensure they connect with the value of products offered. Building, developing and taking talented and established teams on the journey for the future, your role you will also act as a second in charge to the Managing Director, as required.The PersonWe are keen to hear from you if you possess the following background, key skills and attributes:Strong livestock background with an understanding of production practices and challenges producers face on a daily and ongoing basis, including livestock genetics and the value of genetic technologies in livestock and other agriculture sectorsProven history of exceptional stakeholder and client engagement, ideally in a technical environment where service delivery is vitalSkills to execute the vision for the company's future effectively, aligning business goals with rapidly evolving technology, research and client needsAbility to drive strategic and operational plans at Executive level, ideally in a compliant statutory environmentProven influencing and successful negotiation, having developed and maintained SLAs in the pastProven people leadership skills in all aspects and experience with teams of considerable sizeExperience in or covering a MD or CEO level functionWorked historically to improve a brand and reputation in an agricultural business by being the representative within the client base and industryRelevant tertiary qualifications (finance, business management, administration and/or leadership highly regarded)This will be a transformational role which plays a vital function within ABRI to foster not only a positive and values-based culture, but a culture of innovation scientific research outcomes into commercial products.
