About the Opportunity
Our client is a respected accountancy practice located in Helensvale on the Gold Coast.
* Prepare financial statements and income tax returns for individuals, partnerships, companies, trusts, and superannuation funds
* Liaise with clients, the Australian Taxation Office, and internal team members
* Conduct bank reconciliations and troubleshoot discrepancies
* Manage payroll and superannuation processes
* Ensure compliance with Australian Securities and Investments Commission regulations
* Prepare Business Activity Statements and Instalment Activity Statements
About You
The successful candidate will have:
* A minimum of 5 years' experience in public practice
* A Chartered Accountant, Certified Practising Accountant, or Institute of Public Accountants professional affiliation (highly regarded)
* Experience in assisting clients with multiple entity structures
* A Certificate in Accounting and Bookkeeping or relevant qualification
* Experience with Class software for superannuation funds (highly regarded)
* Experience with accounting software such as Xero, MYOB, Handisoft, and Microsoft Office
