The Role
An opportunity has become available for several Neuropsychologists - Senior to join Gold Coast Health (GCH) where the focus of our 12 000-strong team is on providing world-class health care to people living in the Gold Coast, and northern New South Wales region of Australia.
You will
1. Utilise high level clinical skills in providing evidence based assessment and interventions
2. Participate in the design, implementation and evaluation of group programs for patients
3. Contribute a high level of neuropsychological consultation and ethical decision making
4. Participate in quality activities and research related to Neuropsychology
About you
To be successful in this position you will require:
5. A tertiary degree in Psychology (or equivalent) from a recognised tertiary institution
6. A post-graduate qualification in Neuropsychology
7. AHPRA Registration
8. While not mandatory, dual endorsement as a Clinical and Neuropsychologist is desirable
9. Evidence of vaccination, or be able to be vaccinated against and remain vaccinated against - Measles, Mumps, Rubella, Varicella, Pertussis and Hepatitis B
10. Tuberculosis screening, to identify if the tuberculosis vaccination may be required
11. Declaration of serious discipline history must be disclosed
12. Criminal History Screening will be required for new employees (GCH will cover cost)

Salary
22. Permanent full time and Temporary part time (two permanent full time and one temporary part time position, up to 30.12.24 with the possibility of extension, 38 hours per fortnight)
23. Base salary ranging from $124 435 - $133 901 per annum or $62.75 - $67.53 per hour

The Acute Psychology Service is located within Allied Health and Rehabilitation Services and provides both inpatient and outpatient services to patients presenting to hospital with physical health and comorbid psychological and neuropsychological conditions.
