The Enterprise Services Group consists of four teams including Finance, Procurement, Property and Contracts, Performance Reporting and Planning and the Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) Program. The Group provides a range of support, advice and analysis services across ASIC.
The role
As a Finance Officer, you will
Review bank statements and reconcile public monies with general ledger entries.Complete daily and monthly reconciliations, investigate discrepancies, and take corrective actions.Respond to audit queries, analyse financial data, and address ad hoc requests.Assist with tax and statutory reporting obligations, ensuring compliance with legislation.Handle business invoice requests, manage customer payments, and recommend debt write-offs.Prepare and complete monthly compliance reports on supplier records.Assist accounts payable, process payment runs and provide payment on-time reporting.Recommend continuous improvements to existing practices.About You
You have a relevant bachelor's degree or proven industry experience, along with strong analytical and technical skills, attention to detail, and accuracy. You will also require good customer service and problem-solving skills, as well as experience in interpreting legislation and following policy and procedures.
