About the Position
The Research Librarian will contribute to the success of researchers by working closely with colleagues within the Library Research Services team. This role involves developing, coordinating, and delivering an array of research services and initiatives that enhance the university's research capacity and impact.
Key Responsibilities
* Develop, coordinate, and deliver research services and initiatives to enhance the university's research capacity and impact.
* Engage with researchers and stakeholders to support activities such as research data management, scholarly publishing, metrics, and training on emerging research tools and research skills.
Requirements
* Degree in information management or a relevant discipline, or an equivalent combination of relevant experience and education/training/experience.
* Demonstrated understanding and knowledge of the role of the library in research processes and workflows.
* Ability to demonstrate self-awareness, see things from another person's perspective, and actively seek out and act on feedback to improve knowledge, skills, and behavior.
* Demonstrated ability to set priorities, meet deadlines, and monitor workflows within own area of responsibility and to collaborate effectively within and across teams, and with external stakeholders, to ensure an optimum student experience and outcomes.

Campus independent - Can be based at La Trobe University's Melbourne (Bundoora) or Victorian regional campuses.
