The Role
Working closely with the Maintenance Supervisor and the Production team, the successful applicant will have experience working on a variety of manufacturing equipment, safety management practices and the ability to carry out both time critical breakdown repairs whilst ensuring scheduled maintenance work is carried out.
This hands-on role will also require you to schedule maintenance activities to ensure production targets and minimum down time targets are achieved on a daily basis. Experience with computer-based maintenance programs will be well regarded.
You will have
* A mechanical Trade qualification - essential (Relevant tickets to perform tasks)
* Demonstrated knowledge of OH&S and Environmental Policies and Legislation
* Experience working with production and maintenance KPIs (including planned preventative maintenance programs)
* Ability to work under pressure
* Ability to perform welding duties
* 5+ years Industry Experience (History working with manufacturing and maintenance teams)
* BI boiler licence and forklift licence (HRW) preferred but not essential
