MPK is seeking a highly motivated solids dewatering professional to join our Toowoomba-based team on a 14:14 roster. If you have a passion for optimizing solid-liquid separation processes and a strong technical background, we want to hear from you! As a Field Engineer, responsibilities include
* Identifying upgrades and improvements to dewatering equipment and process, components, instrumentation, and control system.
* Assisting with maintaining suitable inventory of spare parts.
* Thorough record keeping of checklists, maintain standards of daily reporting.
* Communicating with internal and external stakeholders in a timely, effective and appropriate manner
* Determining chemical and operational requirements while processing fluid.
* Troubleshooting process upset conditions, determine root causes and initiate corrective actions promptly and efficiently.
* Understanding of dewatering chemicals and their impact to process fluid chemistry.
* Maintaining strict adherence to all necessary MPK and Client procedures and policies to ensure compliance with safety, environmental and land access requirements.
The ideal candidate will possess in-depth knowledge of thickener design, gravity settling of solids, and chemical conditioning of slurries. You should also be familiar with various mechanical dewatering techniques to enhance operational efficiency. Your expertise will play a crucial role in our ongoing commitment to delivering top-notch water management solutions.
Experience in water process plants, coal handling and preparation plants (CHPP), or hard rock mineral processing will be viewed favourably. We value innovative thinkers who can contribute to the development and implementation of effective dewatering strategies.
