About the Role
The Civil Mobile Plant Operator will contribute to the efficient and effective maintenance and construction of Flinders Port Holdings new and existing civil assets.
Key Responsibilities:
* Operating of civil equipment including excavators, front end loader, skid steer, tipper truck, water truck, dozer and backhoe;
* Working with the existing civil team to complete pavement construction, earthworks, land preparation and improvements;
* Pavement repairs and maintenance on existing wharf and hardstand infrastructure;
* Laying and undertaking repairs of water mains to SA Water specifications;
* Assist in the day-to-day maintenance activities.
About You
Your skills and experience will include:
* Certificate III or trade qualification, Construction Induction Training (White Card), and valid Heavy Rigid driver's licence would all be highly regarded;
* Experience with civil construction equipment (e.g., excavator, backhoe, bulldozer (with relevant licence)), maintenance tooling used in concreting, water main repairs and maintenance tasks;
* Punctual, reliable, proactive problem solver with strong communication skills and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team;
* Knowledge of South Australian WHS legislation, safety procedures (e.g., JSEAs, hazard identification), and incident reporting is essential.
