Key qualifications and attributes:
* Demonstrated leadership and previous experience
* Ability to solve problems and seek guidance where necessary
* Clear communication skills with a high level of organisation
* Uncompromising approach to product & service delivery – a great hands-on service ethic
* Exceptional capabilities in quality and consistency of product delivery
* Experience in operating multiple obligations for several service points
* Ability to seek to understand systems, processes, GP Results, wages, recipes, food safety and more.
* Supporting Head Chef with day-to-day operations of the Kitchen and assist in their colleagues' absence(s).
* Capable of working cohesively and autonomously within a team.
* Required: Availability to suit rotating shift-work rosters, that can span weekdays, weekends and public holidays.
* Preferred: Minimum 2 years of experience in a fast-paced kitchen.
* Preferred: Certificate III in Commercial Cookery and/or Kitchen Management.
* Preferred: Proficiency in all sections of the kitchen.
