About the position
Located in MORANBAH, QLD

* Performing mechanical diagnosis and troubleshooting faults
* Service vehicles to a safe and high standard
* Carry out all repairs on Kenworth water trucks, prime movers and trailers
* Complete all required paperwork (i.e. fault reports in an accurate and timely manner)
* Contribute to the workshop maintenance and comply with all WHS quality standards
About you
* Trade Qualified with experience in maintenance, fault diagnosis and repair.
* Excellent troubleshooting and electrical diagnostic skills
* Knowledge of Kenworth Trucks, Cat and Cummins engines, Eaton and Allison transmissions
* Electrical and mechanical experience highly desired
* High awareness of safety in the workplace
* Self-motivated & trustworthy strong time management skills
* Attention to detail & initiative
* A proven ability to work as part of a team and ability to maintain the workshop
* Current Drivers, HR and AC licences desired.
On offer
* Earn up to $164,000 annually including allowances;
o $15,000 accommodation allowance for Moranbah relocation
o additional $6,000 allowance for dual trades (AC, Auto Electrical)
* 5/2 roster - only day shifts
* Clean, modern 6-bay workshop with the latest tools and technology
* Immediate start - no mine site inductions required
* Supportive and stable work environment
All applicants will be required to undergo and pass a Coal Board Medical and National Criminal History Check.
