Key Responsibilities:
* Partner closely with the CFO and senior business leaders to develop and implement financial strategies that support the organisation’s goals.
* Provide detailed financial analysis, forecasting, and reporting to guide strategic decision-making across various lines of business.
* Collaborate with department heads to understand their financial needs, challenges, and opportunities, offering tailored financial advice and solutions.
* Drive the budgeting and financial planning processes, ensuring alignment with the organization’s strategic objectives.
* Monitor financial performance, identify trends, and provide actionable insights to improve financial outcomes.
* Support the CFO in preparing presentations and reports for the executive team and board, translating complex financial data into clear, actionable information.
* Lead initiatives to improve financial processes, systems, and reporting capabilities, enhancing overall efficiency and effectiveness.
* Serve as a trusted advisor to the business, fostering a culture of financial accountability and transparency.
* Contribute to the development and execution of key projects that will shape the future direction of the organisation
Qualifications:
* Proven experience as a Finance Business Partner, Financial Analyst, or similar role, ideally within a large, complex organization.
* Strong commercial acumen with the ability to connect financial insights to business strategy.
* Excellent analytical skills, with the ability to interpret and communicate complex financial data to non-financial stakeholders.
* Advanced proficiency in financial modeling, forecasting, and reporting tools.
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and build relationships at all levels of the organization.
* Experience in a complex or highly regulated sector is a plus, but not essential; a passion for making an impact in a critical industry is key.
* A proactive, problem-solving mindset with a focus on continuous improvement.
* CPA, CA, or equivalent financial qualification is preferred.
