What you'll do: Develop high quality and timely data products to be used in advanced analytical, computational and experimental models in natural and engineered systems; and put safety first.Assist in the development, implementation, and maintenance of detailed analytical systems to ensure that outcomes from models are readily accessible.Collaboratively work with colleagues in delivering outcomes within agreed timeframes.Contribute to technical support in development and review of assigned tasks to support the successful completion of projects.Undertake formal and on the job training and participate in structured placement activities to develop skills across a broad range of areas within WaterNSW. What we are looking for: Be in your final year of study or have graduated recently with a relevant degree in the applied data science, IT, computer science, engineering, or any equivalent field.Current NSW Drivers Licence.Able to demonstrate and have experience in analysing and visualising multi-dimensional large datasets, using Python or R language.Ability to communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.Understanding and working knowledge of the Microsoft online platforms (e.g.OneDrive, Sharepoint, Teams).Preferable: Experience working with spatial information systems for scientific applications such as ARC GIS.
