The Role Due to continued growth within the organisation, Dyno Nobel is currently seeking a Maintenance Supervisor to actively lead and manage asset care team members at our Curragh maintenance facility.
The Maintenance Supervisor will be responsible for all maintenance activities, health, safety and quality programs relating to the maintenance functionality performed on site. In addition, you will be leading experienced technicians and will also be responsible for:
Allocation of work and task assignments within the team. The delegation of a prompt priority-based breakdown response. Maintain strong working relationships in a safe and productive work environment. Hazard management including the guidance on the use of safety tools including risk assessments, JSA's, Take 5's and SAO's. Compliant team utilisation and support of work instructions/standard operating procedures. Quality control of equipment during and pre-dispatch of any maintenance conducted – to achieve maximum asset safety and operational readiness. Ensure the crew is working safely and efficiently in all areas of maintenance to meet or exceed daily targets and contractual KPI's. Maintain targeted mechanical availability KPI's. What you will bring Senior workshop experience with heavy mobile fleet maintenance in a mining environment as well as a good understanding of safety legislative requirements, mining regulations and classified plant.

Support all work management systems through SAP including formalised maintenance planning and scheduling. Understand and forecast budgetary requirements to area business partners. The Site Located at Curragh's Coronado mine – 13km from Blackwater, 1 hour from Emerald or 2.5 hours from Rockhampton multiple residential, DIDO or FIFO options exist.
You will be managing a team of up to 4 technicians working an offset 7x7 roster supporting maintenance deliverables at our Coronado Curragh operations. The supervisor role will support a blend of supervisory and maintenance execution tasks.
