Retail Portfolio for key VIC Government Account

We have an opportunity for an experienced and highly motivated Property Manager to join our team managing a mostly retail portfolio of Commercial assets for a key government agency. Experience across retail assets and knowledge of the Retail Leases Act is essential.
Whilst this role is being offered as a 9 month fixed term contract, there is a strong likelihood that the role will become permanent.
A Day in the Life:
* Responsible and accountable for the overall performance of the property management operations for a Commercial Portfolio; duties include property management, lease renewals, rent reviews, preparation of leases and license documentation.
* Dynamic engagement with a single government client, tenants and operational personnel.
* All maintenance is managed directly by the client, you will be required to review lease obligations to assist with this process.
* Providing detailed information to support monthly reporting packs for the client.
* Monitor all financial transactions relating to management of the portfolio and ensure the proper authorisation of payments and collection of debts.
Key Requirements:
* Previous Commercial Property Management experience ideally within retail.
* A capacity to manage client expectations with an ability to manage multiple projects and work to strict deadlines.
* A proactive, approachable and professional demeanour with a high level of attention to detail.
* Strong communication skills with the ability to build effective working relationships.
* Certificate of Registration and thorough knowledge of the property industry and local market.
