The Role
The Accounts Receivable Officer provides support to the Senior Accounts Receivable Officer including interacting with management, staff, residents and their families, visiting health professionals and any other person in the work environment.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Resident Accounts – admin residents in the system, update account when fees change, finalise
resident accounts, and refund overpaid fees, and accommodation payments if applicable.
• Billing of fees and adhoc charges on a fortnightly and monthly basis.
• Maintain and process direct debits, and follow up rejected direct debits.
• Process payments over the phone and receipt payments.
• Authorise admissions, discharges, and send (online) to Medicare.
• Monitor dashboard if admissions and discharges are successfully accepted, and if not, rectify and
re-submit.
• Resolve account queries and investigate irregularities.
• Respond to general AR related queries.
• Provide backup for the teams as required.
• Assist with debt collection.
• General duties including correspondence, filing etc.
• Other duties as advised by the Senior Accounts Receivable Officer.

Essential Criteria:
1. Evidence of COVID-19 and Current Flu vaccinations per Amana Living policies
2. Ability to obtain a National Police Clearance (within 6-months validity)
3. Successful completion of pre-employment form and reference checks
