The Opportunity
Our Broome Office is looking for motivated candidates who are interested in delivering driving assessments for the WA regional community. No previous experience is necessary as we will provide all training – you just need to enjoy working with people in a fast-paced customer focused environment.
In this unique and varied position your positive approach and excellent communication skills will be your greatest asset as you conduct practical driving assessments for a wide variety of candidates seeking licences. Using your high attention to detail and the training provided, you will assess the candidate’s ability to meet the required standards of competency and provide comprehensive feedback in a compassionate and informative manner.
Our ideal candidate will possess excellent customer service skills, be flexible in their approach with the ability to work independently and thrive in an ever-changing environment.
Please note - this role requires regular travel within the region.
Currently there is one (1) permanent full-time position available for immediate filling .
Requirements of the position
To undertake this position, you are required to hold, or be in progress to holding, an unrestricted C, MR, HR, R and R-E class driver’s licence.
Successful applicants will also be required to hold or obtain a current National Police Clearance prior to appointment.

What is a recruitment pool?
This is a pool recruitment process; we use recruitment pools to build a bank of talent who we feel might be suited to future opportunities within the Department of Transport. You may join us on a full-time, part-time, fixed term or permanent basis however an appointment is not guaranteed. The recruitment pool will remain open for a period of twelve (12) months from the date of first appointment.
Whilst new appointments may commence on a fixed term basis, there may be the possibility of extension and/or permanency in the future.
