About YouOur client is seeking a dynamic and results-driven Business Development Manager to drive business growth by leveraging your expertise in Shopper Insights - establishing relationships, and leading sales efforts to expand their footprint in both the Australian and New Zealand market. About the RoleKey Responsibilities: Business Development: Focus on the suite of programs and reports, while actively exploring new channels and growth opportunities. Client Engagement: Develop strong relationships with contacts at all levels, including C-suite executives, engage clients and build trust. Sales Leadership: Work closely with the Senior Leadership Team to influence business development strategies that align with the overall commercial vision. Negotiation & Closing: Lead negotiations and close contracts that ensure strong commercial outcomes. Skills & Experience Required: Proven Business Development Experience: Minimum 5 years of experience in business development, with a successful track record in long sales cycles and driving revenue growth. Preferably with experience in FMCG, Pharma, retail, or an agency setting. Expert in Shopper Insights/Research: Strong background in utilizing and developing research or insights, with an analytical ability to translate data into actionable solutions. Confident & Resilient Communicator: Ability to engage with a range of senior stakeholders confidently and exhibit strong negotiation and relationship-building skills. Results-Oriented: Demonstrated ability to meet and exceed sales targets, delivering consistent and sustainable revenue growth. Passion for Data & Solutions: A keen interest in developing data-driven solutions and a passion for shopper insights.
