Senior Quality Assurance Engineer Role
This role plays a crucial part in delivering transformative solutions, including a SaaS chatbot powered by AI and large language models (LLMs).
Responsibilities:
* Quality Strategy & Execution: Develop comprehensive quality assurance and testing strategies for the program.
* Process Improvement: Identify and resolve QA bottlenecks to drive efficiencies and improvements.
* Team Collaboration: Work closely with project teams and vendors to mitigate risks and ensure successful delivery.
* Automation & Optimization: Lead continuous improvement initiatives, including right-sized automation practices and CI/CD integration.
* AI/LLM Testing: Design and execute tests to validate the accuracy, learning capabilities, and responsiveness of AI/LLM-powered chatbots.
* System Integration: Conduct system and integration testing to ensure smooth operations across platforms.
* Defect Management: Translate system requirements into detailed test plans, execute them effectively, and identify solutions to address product challenges.
Requirements:
* Extensive Experience: 10+ years of hands-on experience in developing and maintaining automated testing solutions for web, mobile, and back-end platforms, with at least 5 years working in Agile environments.
* API Testing Expertise: Advanced skills in testing REST/SOAP/XML services using tools such as POSTMAN.
* Technical Proficiency: Strong knowledge of Java, Kotlin, and JavaScript.
* Version Control Mastery: Familiarity with tools like Git, GitHub, CI/CD pipelines, and GitHub Actions.
* Debugging Skills: Experience using tools like Splunk and Datadog for issue resolution and monitoring.
* Comprehensive Testing: Expertise in Manual, Integration, System, and End-to-End testing, paired with excellent defect management and test planning skills.
* Problem-Solving Mindset: Ability to engage with and influence technical and non-technical stakeholders, advocating for best practices and innovative solutions.
This is a Sydney-based contract opportunity with the possibility of further extension. The ideal candidate will have full working rights or Australian Citizenship/Permanent Residency.
