RAC Auto Services is seeking a dedicated and experienced Service Centre Manager to lead their automotive service team in Joondalup. This is an exciting opportunity for someone with a background in the automotive industry who is passionate about delivering quality service, optimising operational performance, and supporting team development.
What will you be doing?
You strive to grow and develop the overall operational performance of the automotive centre in line with our Auto Services strategic plan. In addition, you lead a small professional team of Service Advisors, Team Leader (Workshop Foreman), and Detailer/Driver.
Responsibilities include:
1. Ownership of the Centre’s key performance indicators, including revenue, profitability, quality assurance, compliance management.
2. Management and monitoring of health, safety and environment compliance.
3. Performance planning and management of staff in accordance with RAC policies and procedures.
4. Providing customer and member service excellence.
5. Optimisation and growth of the existing client base.
6. Review, recommend and implement operational improvements to ensure efficient operations.
7. Escalation points for customer feedback.
8. Participation in retention, recruitment and selection activities.
Reporting to the Operations Manager, this position is offered on a permanent, full-time basis.
What are we looking for in you?
You will utilise your previous auto industry experience combined with demonstrated coaching and consultative leadership style and will also maintain:
1. A sound level of sales and business acumen.
2. Proven experience in growing an existing client base.
3. A high level of both written and verbal communication and relationship management skills.
4. Strong problem solving, conflict resolution and decision-making skills.
5. Well-developed organisational and planning skills, along with an ability to multi-task.
6. Experience coaching and developing staff and creating a highly engaged work culture.
