We are committed to supporting the talent and skills of our employees because we know their capability is the key to our success.Your new roleThe Graphic Designer and Digital Content Producer is responsible for the execution of in-house design and multimedia initiatives, developing compelling, high-quality assets across diverse mediums, including print, digital, web, and social media to promote awareness and positive engagement with the Carer Gateway program.As a brand guardian, the Graphic Designer and Digital Content Producer plays a pivotal role in supporting a diverse range of stakeholders. This involves providing expert advice and guidance to ensure that all marketing and communications materials consistently adhere to and reinforce the brand guidelines.You will be responsible forBranding and CollaborationActing as a custodian of Carer's Gateway Branding & Communications Framework ensuring all marketing and communication materials used by different stakeholders align with established brand guidelines.Providing expert guidance and advice to different stakeholders on how to effectively use the brand elements in various design and content initiatives.Reviewing and approving design and content materials to ensure consistency and adherence to brand standards.Content Creation and DesignDeveloping compelling graphics and visual content for digital platforms (including websites, social media, email marketing, digital advertising, and intranet/extranet) as well as for print materials, engaging diverse carer cohorts and stakeholders.Designing marketing collateral, including brochures, flyers, posters, banners, billboards, newsletters, information packs, annual reports, magazines, and other printed and digital publications.Creating innovative and engaging event materials, including custom-designed invitations and eye-catching signage.Collaborating with web developers to refine and elevate web design, prioritising user-friendly interfaces and responsive layouts.Designing dynamic and impactful email templates for marketing campaigns, surveys, and newsletters.Understanding the properties of materials to determine their suitability for different design projects.Visual CommunicationDeveloping compelling graphics, infographics, illustrations, and interactive visuals.Conceptualising and designing a range of branded merchandise.Editing and retouching photos for digital use.Producing, editing, and overseeing the development of animations, promotional videos, and multimedia presentations.Project ManagementCollaborating with cross-functional teams to translate objectives into creative visual solutions.Managing multiple design projects and content production initiatives from initial brief to completion.Coordinating the production and distribution of assets.Strategic Marketing SupportUsing design to tell compelling stories about Carer Gateway services.Supporting the execution of the Carer Gateway State Marketing and Communications plan.Addressing queries from stakeholders effectively.Brand ManagementSupporting the management of Carer Gateway brand and visual identity.To succeed in this role you will haveEssential:Formal tertiary qualifications in graphic design.Demonstrated experience in similar roles within marketing and design.Strong understanding of branding principles.Experience in designing for various mediums (print and digital).Experience in data visualisation and creating infographics.Good knowledge in UX/UI design, and HTML/CSS.Strong problem-solving skills.Detail-oriented with excellent time management skills.Proficiency with Adobe Creative Suite, Illustrator, CANVA, and other relevant tools.A genuine passion for all facets of design.General photography and video editing skills.Desirable:Exceptional project management skills.Highly developed interpersonal and communication skills.Experience within the not-for-profit sector.Experience working with carers.If this piques your interest, take a few minutes to learn more about us on our website.
