About the role
Gold Coast Private Hospital is currently looking for an experienced Registered Nurse to join our team of professionals in providing excellent patient care on a part time basis 64 hours per fortnight working various shifts across a 7 day roster. This position is in the Orthopaedics ward.

Your duties will include
Supporting patients throughout their stay
Maintain positive relationships with patients, families, staff and VMOs from diverse backgrounds and cultures
Effectively worked within scope of practice, demonstrated clinical competencies and comprehensive patient assessment, care planning, implementation and evaluation of outcomes including recognition and timely response to patient deterioration
Liaise with the multi-disciplinary team
Ensure patient and staff safety
Assist nursing staff with supporting patients with care of patients
Essential Criteria:
· A minimum of 12 months experience as a Registered Nurse in a hospital setting - Surgical
· Surgical and Post Op experience desirable
· Current Registration with AHPRA
· Commitment to Quality Patient Care
· Sound clinical decision making and problem-solving skills
· Excellent communication and customer service skills
· Works well independently and within a team
