You will provide leadership and advice as well as monitor and suggest recommendations on internal and external environment influences to ensure health services are able to meet patient needs.

About Clarence Correctional Centre Opened in mid-2020, this 1,700-bed state-of-the-art facility is the largest correctional centre in Australia, located on the beautiful NSW North Coast.
The role of the Nurse Practitioner – Mental Health is to provide assessment and intervention strategies to support and manage patients at an advanced and extended nursing level with particular emphasis on mental health.
You will diagnose and treat acute infections, injuries and illnesses where appropriate and consult with patients about effectively managing their health, designing treatment plans, and recommending further care.
To be successful in this role you'll have: Registration as a Registered Nurse with AHPRA Master of Nursing Practice Extensive experience in mental health nursing Endorsed by NMBA and able to prescribe (within your scope of practice) Experience in clinical assessment, care planning, review and discharge planning of individual patients including ongoing regular reviews Ability to confidently and proficiently carry out a range of procedures, treatments and interventions Please note: This position carries trust and responsibility.
