This role reports to the Director of Business Services and is accountable for providing timely and effective technical support for UTHSAC' computer systems and networks. More specifically, your responsibilities include but are not limited to: Administering and maintaining multiple servers Ensuring secure and efficient backup systems Managing Communicare database administration and support Providing desktop support and troubleshooting issues with hardware and software Developing and delivering IT training for staff Maintaining network security and implementing security protocols Assisting in future IT infrastructure planning and procurement Facilitating and participating in the in-house training of staff on the effective use of the Quality Management System (LogiQC) About You To qualify, you will need a formal qualification in Information Systems Management, System Analysis and Design, Technical Support, or a related discipline. A minimum of 2 years of experience in IT system management is essential, alongside experience with network systems, server administration, and desktop support. Additionally, the following skills and background will be highly valued: Experience administering servers (Windows Server 2016 or later) Intermediate networking skills, including installing, configuring, monitoring network devices and operating systems. Knowledge of Communicare database systems and office productivity softwares Strong problem-solving abilities and a collaborative approach As our ideal candidate, you will possess excellent communication skills, a proactive attitude, and the ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
