We have an exciting opportunity for a Home Site Supervisor to join our team in Tewantin .
Utilising your leadership experience and background in Human Services, you will lead a team of dedicated Support Workers across two beautiful SDA homes, ensuring a high quality of service for our customers.
In this administration-based role, your priority will be to supervise site operations, maintain accurate documentation, ensure ongoing audit compliance, provide supervision and training of a team of support workers, maintain stakeholder relationships and above all, ensure the safety and high standard of support for the residents.
The successful candidate will be able to take initiative to solve problems whilst operating in adherence to established work practices.
This role is full-time, 38 hours per week, working Monday to Friday, with flexible working hours within standard business hours.
Duties will include:
8. Supporting the financial performance of the home service sites through effective management of operating expenditure in line with budget.
9. Supervision, training and onsite support for a team of support workers
10. Ensuring team member awareness of each individual requirements.
11. Providing support that is aligned to the person’s plans, goals and any other requirements, including but not limited to all aspects of personal hygiene and living skills to ensure a safe and comfortable living environment is provided.
12. Delivering and encouraging others in the accurate documentation of all activities to ensure an accurate audit trail and maintenance of progress notes.
What you will bring to the role:
13. Experience supervising site operations and delivering services aligned with organisational policies and procedures.
14. Experience in supervision of a high performing team of staff.
15. Experience in the management of SIL environments.
16. Experience in the Disability sector and ideally with complex behaviours, disabilities and mental health highly advantageous.
17. Proven interpersonal and communication skills and ability to grow relationships with team members and stakeholders.
18. Problem solving skills, to successfully identify issues, develop solutions and implement these using a logical and systematic approach.
19. A minimum Certificate III in Disability and/or Certificate III in Individual Support or significant proven experience in the community services sector.
