Child Welfare, Youth & Family Services (Community Services & Development) Full time As the Operations Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the delivery of our child protection and disability support services.This is a hands-on role and is pivotal in ensuring operational excellence, compliance, and the highest standards of care. You will lead a dedicated team, manage resources effectively, and build strong relationships with stakeholders. This role reports to the company Directors.About Us Phoenix Specialised Youth and Disability Services is a nationally awarded, NDIS registered, service provider. We are committed to providing inclusive, high-quality support to children, families, and individuals with disabilities. Operating throughout Victoria 24/7, offering temporary staffing to youth residential care, out-of-home care and NDIS psychosocial supports. Phoenix also has a team of dedicated support coordinators working to identify and connect participants with quality care.Role Key Responsibilities Lead the day-to-day operations of child protection and disability support services, ensuring alignment with organisational goals and compliance with relevant regulations. This includes overseeing NDIS support coordination services, child protection & NDIS on-hire support staffing service delivery, assets, information technology, marketing, and human resources.Supervise and support managers, team leaders, and team members, fostering a culture of collaboration and accountability.Develop and implement operational strategies to improve service delivery and outcomes.Maintain and improve an internally & externally audited Quality Management System.Monitor performance metrics and resource allocation to ensure efficiency and sustainability.Drive continuous improvement initiatives, incorporating feedback and best practices.Manage allegations and reportable conduct incidents.Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, participants, families, community organisations, and government agencies.Ensure a safe and inclusive environment for all clients and staff, prioritising wellbeing and empowerment.About You Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Social Work, Disability Services, Business Management, or a related field.Experience: Child protection, disability services, or related sectors preferable, with a minimum of 5 years in a senior leadership role.Skills:Strong understanding of child protection and disability service frameworks, legislation, and best practices.Excellent leadership and team management skills, with a proven ability to inspire and drive results.Exceptional problem-solving, communication, and interpersonal abilities.Proficiency in managing budgets, reporting, and operational planning.Strong abilities in computing, software, and business equipment management & support.Basic Microsoft 365 administration skills highly regarded.WWC and NDIS Worker Screening Check will be required prior to employment. #J-18808-Ljbffr
