Position Summary
Purpose
forward looking strategic planning and Business Development for the IMR Business Unit. Directs, and coordinates activities of IMR Program and Project Managers to exceed Customer expectations for Safety, Quality, Schedule, and Cost.
Location
¿Role provides the opportunity to work in hybrid environment, working both virtually and in office when required.
domestic, overseas, and offshore travel as needed.
Duties & Responsibilities
Functions
Essential
·Develop customer focused IMR strategy for each operator in region depending on their needs, may it be vessel based, platform based, UWILD or FPSO.
·Identify most economic method, assets and resources required to execute each IMR opportunity or contract.
·Execute Contracts for IMR projects which maximize profit while limiting Oceaneering exposure to unacceptable risk.
·Work closely with IMDS / SSR to develop new IMR technology and business opportunities.
·Promote IMR Projects Group skill sets and assets to existing and potential Customers.
·Develop and nurture new IMR Customer relationships and business opportunities across Asia Pacific.
·Develop and maintain strong relationships with Operators across Asia Pacific.
·Prepare and or approve commercial and technical proposals and project budgets.
·Accountable for the IMR Projects business profit and loss across Asia Pacific.
·Accountable for accurately closing monthly books for IMR Projects business in Asia Pacific.
·Communicate and interface as necessary with relevant stakeholders to successfully achieve business outcomes or established KPI’s.
·Manage scope of multiple projects as a program or portfolio and ensure that they align with the overall company strategic objectives.
·Mentor and coach other Project Managers and Project Coordinators
·Assist Regional Director with planning and executing strategic objectives and initiatives towards advancing and expanding the business line.
·Set up and monitor project budgets. Provide revenue and cost advice to include relevant cost accruals as applicable.Participate or directly engage in forecasting of project revenue and cost.
·Develop and maintain resource-loaded project schedule with detailed work breakdown structure (WBS).
·Day to day management of assigned projects and project teams, including the planning of project operations and the supervision of operational personnel on site including the review of procedures, staffing requirements and allocation of available resources to various phases of the project to ensure project progresses on schedule and within budget.
·Daily liaison on projects and systems to identify any issues and ensure project is running as planned.
·Finding solutions where required to mitigate downtime or project delays that impact the client business or profitability rates of the project.
·Conduct presentations and assists with sales and marketing activities.
·As appropriate, coordinate with Operations Lead and Sales/Commercials personnel in the development of Bids and Proposals.
·Review and approve quality plans and technical procedures.If required, create procedures for subsea projects.
·Review project proposal or plan to determine time frame, funding limitations, procedures for accomplishing project, staffing requirements, and allotment of available resources to various phases of project.
Supervisory Responsibilities
§This position has supervisory responsibilities of Project Managers, Project Engineers, and Progect Coordinators.
Qualifications
Qualifications
REQUIRED
§Bachelor’s degree in either Mechanical Structural, Civil or OceanEngineering
§Minimum five (5) years’ experience with ROV, Tooling, and Subsea Inspection operations.
§Valid passport
§Ability and willingness to travel Internationally, predominately within Asia Pacific
§Must be able to obtain:
oTransportation Workers Identification Card (TWIC)
oBasic Offshore Safety Induction & Emergency Training (BOSIET)

This position is considered OFFICE WORK which is characterized as follows.
§Almost exclusively indoors during the day and occasionally at night
§Occasional exposure to airborne dust in the work place
