As the Analysis & Planning Manager in Training for Menswear, you will play a pivotal role in assisting the delivery of a compelling and profitable customer offer, driving the Myer Merchandise strategy in collaboration with the buying teams. Oversee Men’s Activewear & Swimwear categories Ongoing training and development for your career progression About the role: Assist in the development and delivery of product strategies for the buyership under the leadership and guidance of the Analysis & Planning Manager Conduct in-season and post season analysis on supplier delivery performance and stock health; and in season reporting and analysis for the business Provide accurate forecasting on key financial metrics and effectively communicate any risks based on sales trends, marketing and product performance Implementing appropriate tactical activities in relation to sales, profit, stock to drive business outcomes Be accountable for the financial work up & analysis in assortment planning & range build Collaborate with the Buyer to build and deliver a customer focused range and deliver on key metrics such as Sales, GP and option productivity Plan intake/stock levels to minimise stockholding but maximise sales opportunities and retain a fresh, new merchandise flow Oversee and mentor Allocation Analysts with regards to product performance including accountability for allocation and ordering process, item planning, allocation of advertised merchandise, inventory levels and stock turn, supplier delivery performance About you: Experienced in analysing and interpreting data to make in-season and future recommendations Have a clear understanding of our Customer First Strategy and implementation considerations Able to proactively interact and build relationships with key stakeholders within the business Have a flexible, open minded approach to achieving own objectives whilst supporting the achievement of broader team objectives A strategic thinker with the ability to forecast, as well as obtaining a strong financial, analytical and business acumen Strong time management skills with the ability to effectively prioritize and drive efficiency Strength with computer technology and systems skills, particularly Microsoft Excel Bachelors degree or qualifications in Business Analytics, Commerce, Logistics/Supply Chain, Marketing or Merchandise (advantageous but not essential) The Benefits: Work flexibly from home and our Support Office based in Docklands Generous team member discounts on all Myer product The experience to work alongside industry pioneers Ongoing training and development for your career progression The opportunity to be a part of and contribute to the Myer growth strategy Here, you’re not only an employee.
