The wholly-owned subsidiary has its National Sales Centre based in Sydney home to some of Australia's most recognisable brands which include Audi, CUPRA, Skoda and Volkswagen.About your new RoleThe Financial Planning and Analysis Manager is a senior position within the Finance and IT department that is responsible for a broad range of functions including planning, budgeting & reporting, evaluating incentive campaigns, new vehicle pricing, business proposals, system enhancement, and growth strategy.The achievement of the core responsibilities contributes to Volkswagen Group Australia achieving profitability targets which is core to maintaining a successful business operation in Australia.Your main responsibilities will include:Financial business partnering and support/advice to Business units and Senior managementPlanning and controlling brand budgets and targets allowing brand to accomplish set financial goalsDesign, implementation and execution of adequate controls and procedures directed to ensure a predictable and consistent development of the business in the brand while fostering discipline and accountability in regards to the use of limited resourcesProvide financial consultation to the brand by rendering fact-based recommendations and advice on operational, project-based and strategic plans and discussions and present results to the leadership/management teamEvaluate monthly & Quarterly Incentive retail campaign, national fleet campaign, large fleet & rent a car fleet pricing evaluation. Challenge incentive campaign supported with information to ensure appropriate spend with objective to achieve volume targetReview and evaluate Marketing campaign such as launch/media, sponsorship and regular monitor and review the spendIdentifying issues, providing solutions and enhancing business performanceApprovals for various business units/functions aligned to group policiesAbout youTo succeed in this role, you will need to possess the following:Degree in accounting or financeCompletion of a professional accounting qualification such as CPA/CAMinimum 10 years working in a large complex businessAbility to work under pressure to tight deadlines in a high-paced environmentProficient in financial software such as MS Excel and SAPIn-depth knowledge of business strategy and its financial implicationsStrong advisory, communication, business partnering and leadership skillsStrong negotiation and relationship building skillsPractical problem-solving skills with a financial and operational focusHigh attention to detail and time management skillsOur Benefits, Rewards and Recognition include:A culture of continuous learning, growth and development.
