We are seeking passionate and experienced Chefs to join our kitchen team.
Key Responsibilities:
* Planning menus, estimating food and labour costs, and ordering food supplies
* Monitoring quality of dishes at all stages of preparation and presentation
* Discussing food preparation issues with Managers, Dietitians and kitchen and waiting staff
* Demonstrating techniques and advising on cooking procedures
* Preparing and cooking food
* Explaining and enforcing hygiene regulations
* May select and train staff
* May freeze and preserve foods
* Ability to lead the team
Skills and Experience:
* Minimum of 2 years of professional kitchen experience
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills
* In-depth knowledge of produce, culinary techniques, and kitchen equipment
* Ability to work under pressure while maintaining high standards
* Weekend availability and commitment to long-term employment
